Climate Finance Week Ireland

An extremely informative session ‘From Global to Local: Raising the Sustainability Ambition of the Insurance Industry’ was held on 4 November 2020, at Climate Finance Week Ireland. It featured Sustainable Insurance Forum (SIF) Chair Geoff Summerhayes, Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, IAIS – International Association of Insurance Supervisors; Moyagh Murdock, CEO Insurance Ireland; and Reto Schnarwiler, Head of Group Sustainability, Swiss Re. It was moderated by Butch Bacani, Programme Leader, United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) Principles for Sustainable Insurance (PSI). The welcome remarks were delivered by Stephen Nolan of the Financial Centres for Sustainability (FC4S) and Sustainable Insurance Forum (SIF). The video can be viewed here.
